There's Always a Catch for Everything

Did I mention that the phone line's dead again? For the third time this year? And I just bought a lot of internet cards last Friday so I don't have to go buy some when the load's all used up, because you see, when I buy an internet card I end up buying some other stuff, and I return home with a bag of things and an empty wallet. You know what I mean.

So I'm here again, in an internet cafe, watching stuff from youtube to pass the time. Company policy dictates I am not allowed to work on an internet cafe, so yes, I have to waste time online everyday (another company policy). Stupid PLDT.

I ended up songleading last Sunday with the lack of songleaders. The assigned songleader though showed up. It turns out that her son got sick and she had to stay behind. Do you call that irony?

Anyway, the problem still isn't solved as the sports ministry continues to travel to churches inviting them to the interchurch sportsfest this December. December by the way is that time of the year when the music team has to work double time keeping up with our Simbang Gabi ripoff entitled, "Simbang Umaga" and the various Christmas celebrations. I am tempted to just call the whole singing thing off and let them play, or officiate, or whatever they are supposed to do during the sportsfest. I will invite the break.

A former orgmate gave birth a couple of months ago and wanted me to be the godfather. I said no. That's when I realized how selfish I am. Ha, so I'm not perfect, am I?

Not like I ever claimed it.

Finally, a way to organize the produce of my creative exploits. By dividing it into two groups I can stop being an ass all the time and claim that all my work are sacred and its creative rights all belong to me. I have my first group, work that I get to produce myself and get all creative rights. The second group is work I share creative direction with others. Problem is, I don't have any story/artwork/song in the second group yet.

Oh yeah, and if you're asking why I'm doing this, it's because I realized that everyone has to eat, including me.

Prologue

The entries written here are based on true stories. Whenever possible, non-factual events and situations are labeled to distinguish the real from the imagined. Yes, sometimes the author can tell the two apart.
