Nothings

I should be writing, but I'm too happy looking at other people's websites.

Yes, I'm working on how to redesign the site.

Tomorrow's my last day in the office. Goodbye irate customers. Goodbye operations guys who give citations for being one minute late.

You can get fired by being one minute late!

Goodbye. But I don't feel sad at all. Go figure.

Those Who Trust in God Find Comfort in His Power

The name is Metro Manila Bible Community. I remember seeing its preaching topic for the week displayed across the building like a movie title everytime I pass through Cubao via EDSA. This was years ago.

Ever since I started working at the call center I always had to pass through Cubao going to the office, and to my dismay I only see one topic posted, week after week after week. Up to this day it displays the topic I first saw when I started working: Those Who Trust in God Find Comfort in His Power. Not that it's a bad statement. You would however expect updates. Of course, they are in no obligation to change it on my account, but still.

I am quitting Wednesday. I plan on walking in Cubao for one whole day just for me to create a mental picture of what it looks like now so I can compare it with what I see five years from now. A few years ago, COD was still alive, Gateway Mall was still in construction, and Fiesta Carnival still enjoyed its old building. Do things change fast.

Life IS water - something I learned watching "Rome" on HBO yesterday.

Please, I Can Explain.

No activity for a whole month! Yes, and there is a reason why: it's called version 2. Plans are in the drawing board to redo the website with a modern philosophy.

When I say modern, that means thinking that everybody can access the site using DSL or faster rather than the 56K speed I assume everyone uses when viewing sites. That also means what's modern to me isn't modern to you.

Yes, i'm a dinosaur. And proud of it.

I've always wanted to be a triceratops.

And no, I haven't started yet. Thank you for asking.

:-(

Prologue

The entries written here are based on true stories. Whenever possible, non-factual events and situations are labeled to distinguish the real from the imagined. Yes, sometimes the author can tell the two apart.
